Giesen’s Estate Merlot is made from fruit selected from the Hawke’s Bay wine region, located on the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand, which is known for producing rich, plummy Merlot. Giesen’s fruit is selected predominantly from vineyards in the Bridge Pa area which gives ripe fruit flavours, texture and a beautiful deep, dark colour. The finished wine is a delectable, smooth and supple, with perfumed plum, spice and delicious notes of mocha.
